Newhouse Grad Student Leslie Brocksmith Interns at Koenig Advertising Public Relations for Fall 2015 Semester

Leslie Brocksmith recently joined Koenig Advertising Public Relations, a full-service marketing communications company. Brocksmith’s duties include writing press releases, pitching stories to publications, as well as assisting on various other client projects. 

 

Brocksmith is seeking her M.S. in public relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University and will graduate in August 2016.  She is from Vero Beach, FL, and studied political science and mass communications at the University of Florida.

 

Currently, Brocksmith is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and writes for Newhouse Insider, a Syracuse University publication.

 

Upon graduation, she aspires to work in the public relations field, specializing in startup businesses, and would like to eventually starting her own PR agency. In her spare time, Brocksmith enjoys crafting silver jewelry and making time for laps at the pool.
