KOENIG ADVERTISING PUBLIC RELATIONS WELCOMES LOVEJOY AS SPRING 2015 INTERN

As the New Year begins, Drew Lovejoy, a graduate student at Syracuse University, has joined Koenig Advertising Public Relations as intern for the spring 2015 semester.

 

Lovejoy is currently studying for his M.S. in public relations from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. He is from West Virginia and attended West Virginia University, where he earned a B.A. in both English and Sociology.

 

Lovejoy’s duties at Koenig include writing press releases, pitching stories to various publications and other advertising and public relations assignments. He is also helping researching new marketing strategies for Koenig clients and prospects.

 

After he completes his graduate program, Lovejoy plans to move to Washington, D.C. to work in the political sector for nonprofit organizations or the federal government. Human rights issues are his main interest, so organizations like Human Rights Watch or Amnesty International are his ideal job.

 

Outside of work, Lovejoy is recently married. He and his wife spend their time together watching movies, attending concerts and festivals, and caring for their two cats, Snoopy and Maddie.
